Default switching user windows + L


hello
recently i have been unable to quickly switch users using windows and
l button combination. also when i press these buttons i end up half switching
user but also lock the computer, therefore not letting me switch user. can
anyone help. thanks in advance.

Windows key + L
Locks your computer if you are connected to a network domain, or switches
users if you are not connected to a network domain.

See the following article that lists the different computer lock-up
scenarios that are available to you, as well as other ways to lock the
computer.

your help has been much appreciated but the
problem is still persisting, i still can go to the welcome screen by pressing
windows and L, yet i was doing it a couple of days ago. please can you help
me once more. thanks in advance.

I am making a wild guess here, maybe a Windows Update changed something.
