Default Outlook Not Closing - Staying in System Tray

I have a problem with Outlook 2003.

Having used Outlook - I choose to close by File/Exit or Press the X Button.
Outlook does not close - and an Icon stays in the System Tray.

If i try to restart Outlook it will not start - and I cannot relaunch it
from the System Tray. Only way to close is to CTL-ALT-DEL and to delete the
process.

Do not have WinFax installed neither are any of the Comm Add-Ins checked.

This is a Single Machine on a small 3 PC SOHO Network.

Any help will be appreciated

ALAN W

You must have some other add-in that's interfering with Outlook's closing.
See if anything here helps: http://www.slipstick.com/problems/close.htm
