Business Contact History

I currently have a large record of phone calls logged in my Outlook 2003
journal. I would like to move them into the Business History folder of my
BCM so that they will appear in the 'Business History Items' section of my
business contacts. However, when I try to move them, I receive the following
warning pop up "Can't move the items. This must be associated with a Business
Contact, Account, or Opportunity before saving.". All items have the
appropriate accout/business contact listed in the 'Contacts' field. But, the
"Link to Record" button is grayed out when viewing the journal items. Is
there a workaround?
