I have problems to get Nikon LS-30 run under Windows XP SP-2.
Have installed the Adaptec ASPI driver and the Nikon Scan 3.1.2 from www.nikonusa.com. But what's strange after unzipping the Nscan 312/INF folder only contains LS40, LS2000, LS4000 and LS 8000 - subfolders and no LS30. Any advice? Peter |

Now I found the solution to install the scanner at all at a newsgroup:
http://www.usenews.org/group/comp.p...ssage-6733.html But this didn't install Nikon Scan. The scanner runs with Vuescan now but can't be seen by any other application like PhotoPaint. W/o Nikon Scan I can't use Digital ICE. I would be useful if Nikon would place the support on _one_ page. BTW Vuescan recognizes the LS-30 but seems to run with errors. thank you, Peter > > > if the link doesnt work search nikon for scanners/coolscan III/software > download and look for the XP install guide > > regards, > > Peter Eisenburger wrote: >> Now I found the solution to install the scanner at all at a newsgroup: >> http://www.usenews.org/group/comp.p...ssage-6733.html >> >> But this didn't install Nikon Scan. >> >> The scanner runs with Vuescan now but can't be seen by any other >> application like PhotoPaint.
