Default machine hangs

I have a dell computer (1 year old) and WindowsXP. I have
also got BTBroadband unlimited access. The problem I face
is that my machine hangs after a long period of
inactivity and I have to reboot to start it up again.

I have downloaded BTBroadband software on to my laptop
and enabled access to broadband overnight. My laptop did
not hang.

Could someone pls help me identify what is causing this
system crash ?

Thank you
Gill

Hi,

Check your power setting in windows and BIOS for your
modem and harddisk; make sure they are not set to shutdown
after several minutes of inactivity. Also make sure your
harddisk have sufficient free space for hibernation
(around 5 GB in C drive). If still no avail, contact Dell
support centre for help.
