Is HP4890 software buggy?

I have been scanning and then printing images and I am getting double
copies. I have checked that it is set to one copy, etc.

Is the software buggy?

I found out what this problem was. However, I have a problem in that when I
print a batch of images requestion that they be shrunk to fit, some are
shrunk and some are clipped.
