Getting Epson Smart Panel to work - TWAIN Problem

I'm sure the answer is simple but I just installed Eprosn software form1240U
but when I try to run it it says 'Please Install the Supported TWAIN
Driver'. Can't see anything on the CD so where do I get it from & how to
install?

Did you plug-in the scanner BEFORE installing the software?

If so remove it from the Control Panel>Add/Remove programs.

Unplug the scanner, run SETUP.EXE from the root of the CD.

Plug in the scanner when asked.

It that fails, download and install the latest software from Epson.

In the case of downloaded software, just double click the file you
downloaded, It will create a install folder on your hard drive and
automatically start the installation process.

I know it is a drag but reading the fast install instructions is not
too painful, the software should be installed before the scanner is
connected. Pugging in the scanner is a big temtation but don't.
