Help: How to create and link scanner profile to Nikon Ls-5000 ?

Used to have a Minolta 5400. It was quite easy to create a profile from IT8
target (35mm slide) and link it to the scanner.
Just bought a Nikon LS 5000 and I found no place in preferences/options
where to create and set the path to a scanner profile.
I tried both Nikon Scan and Vuescan software.

Any suggestion is welcome.

Did you buy the Professional Edition of VS?
