Default Question about auto-routing of email to folders

I have Outlook 2003 on my pc at work and can not figure out how to have
emails from designated mail groups automatically route to a folder. I set up
a rule for this, but the emails only filter over to the designated folder
when I run the rule manually. I want this to happen automatically without
manual intervention. Does anyone know how to do this??

Well, I posted first on what I thought was the right site (this is my first
time doing this), but was abruptly notified that I posted on the wrong
location. Frankly now hearing another abrupt comment is about enough.
Please focus your energy elsewhere.
