I recently had an equipment failure (Hard drive would not boot.) I needed a
new HDD anyway so I started from scratch. The data on the old drive it still intact and the drive works. I have reinstalled Windows and Office 2003, now here is the question, Is there a way to get the account information, stored e-mail, contacts, etc. from the old install on the other drive to the new install on the new drive? I was reluctant to use the copy utility that came with the new drive for fear that it would copy the bad boot info along with everything else. Thanks for the assist |

See here for pst locations
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm Copy pst to new hd, any location do not overwrite any existing pst, then in OL File>Open>Data File and copy data to your default pst You may have to take ownership of old files http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308421/en-us "Benny" <Benny@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:FB00B81C-6D1B-471B-BE27-C60444970793@microsoft.com... > I recently had an equipment failure (Hard drive would not boot.)
