Default email addresses disappear from groups during migration OE6 to Outl

I have been using OE6, and installed Outlook (in IMO) - from my Office 2000
suite.

All went ok until I migrated my address book - but only the folder names
from OE migrated to Outlook, without the details contained in them, ie. the
several hundred email addresses that were in the groups. So the groups are
all now empty, the email addresses having vanished to who knows where?

Can anyone tell me what has happened and how I can restore/recover the
vanished email addresses? (I found a Microsoft technial report that
acknowledged the problem, but didn't give a solution!)

Thanks

Start by stating how you "migrated" your data. Outlook can import all
messages just fine. It can only import the default Contacts Folder from OE,
but groups will never transfer.
