Hi All
A relative, who uses Outook for her email, has just bought another computer and would like to transfer ALL her mail on to the new comp en masse. She has no network, just a DVD writer. I don't use Outlook and she hasn't a clue where to start. Can anyone tell me where the default folder is that holds her emails and if it would it be possible to copy this folder to disc and then paste into same on new comp. Would there be any problem with this or does anyone have any other suggestions. Thanks for any help -- Ian B Please reply to NG Anti Spam applied |

She might also want to transfer the .nk2 file. I don't know about the other files in there. With Outlook closed, she should zip the files she wants to transfer. Then write the zip file to cd. Take the cd to the new computer, and do the reverse. She really ought to be able to manage the connection of the two computers with a USB cable. -- Hollis Paul Mukilteo, WA USA |
