Default frontpage slow start

Whenever I start frontpage, it loads but then take a long time before I can
start typing etc (my machine runs fine, it is just this aspect of frontpage).

Any ideas / settings/ suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Go to http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download the FP
Cleaner tool.
Use the options to clear the Cache files, and Temporary files.

Thanks, I tried this, but it did not solve the problem.

Any other ideas?
