I have several photogalleries on my webpage, however after adding another and
uploading, I found that on the page only the path to the gallery was published no photos. I have tried copying existing galleries and uploading the whole site again, but still no pictures. Can anyone help resolve the issue. |

I`m having the same problem with one of my pages. Tried republishing,
recalculating and nothing works. My page displays a file address but no pictures come up. This is a secondary problem that followed difficulties with photo gallery displaying table and cell borders around all my pictures and would not let me get back to the add pictures command. I had to redo all the pages again. I have no explanation as to why this occurs or how to stop this from occuring. Anybody have any ideas ? Thanks "jmshald" wrote: > I have several photogalleries on my webpage, however after adding another and > uploading, I found that on the page only the path to the gallery was > published no photos. Your images are probably still on your harddrive and not uploaded to your
server. Give us a URL so we can look at the code. In the mean time read this article: http://www.eleanorstravels.com/Phot...grams/index.htm and: http://www.eleanorstravels.com/gall...siderations.htm The photogallery component is very quirky and best avoided!... a total waste of your time! 1. Edit your pictures in your favorite graphics program. I use PhotoShop.
2. Save the pictures to some place "within" your website. 3. Set up your photo-gallery and then insert the pictures that are now within your website to your photo-gallery. 4. Publish. -- Richard M. Thanks for the advice. I did manage to get the page working by first deleting
it from the server then republishing. I suspect that when I publish such a large volume of of photo`s using the photo gallery the server cannot process it well and maybe a dedicated server is what is really needed. It has taken several passes to update my site but it finally got there. Just wish they would tell us about theses quirks when they sell us the service. I hope I don`t have to experience this nightmare every month as I will be adding pictures on a regular basis. My URL is: www.Visuals2Graphics.com Thanks again George "Richard" wrote: > 1. With image files of the size you're using 1.7 meg +/-, you gonna have
problems...so will your viewers. You really should optimize all your images for the web first, before you use them in your layout.
