i cannot view any p-- file, but i can view text[form]
there has also been captions ..acrobat plug in [could not find acrobat external window handler]... and...[an internal error has occured].... I have been told that i should remove the version and install a new one,,but when i try to uninstall the acrobat 4.0 ,,, the system shield warning comes up,,and i am not really sure if i should perserveer by removing it or what..???? |

Do you have Acrobat Reader installed or the whole Acrobat program? The reader is a free download and is up to version 6 now. I just installed this the other day and it looks good. Version 5 and up of the reader is recommended for use with Windows XP. You didn't mention what the warning is that you are seeing on your screen but unless you have the paid version of that program (more features), I can't think of any reason of why you should not proceed with the uninstall. If the warning is just "are you sure?" then definitely, yes - you can proceed with the uninstall. Sharon F MS MVP [Shell/User] |
