Registry Data Read Error?

Does anyone know what a registry data read error means?
I get this error while trying to scan with an Epson
Scanner. I have had a network installed since I last
used the scanner but, the scanner is not shared and I did
not think anything was changed with it for the network.
Information is greatly appreciated!
