import converter

I have a number of files created in Word Perfect. I no
longer have WP since I went to XP. I can't open them. A
message says I need an "import converter". It refers
to "Microsoft office xp proffesional with front page" I
don't have that. How can I get these files open with out
spending money on a new program. Is there a download?
