NT is the system on which XP was built. Windows XP as was Windows 2000 were
updates, rather dynamic updates, to Windows NT. Whether or not this can be overcome is problematic but you might try using compatibility. Start\All Programs\Accessories\Program Compatibility Wizard. If that doesn't resolve it, you might check with the application web site to see if there are updates for the programs or if there are later versions available. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend "jill" <jillabc@earthlink.net> wrote in message news:00dc01c33ffd$92b3ab70$a501280a@phx.gbl... > two children's learning cd's could not be installed. > message: "does not support NT" was displayed during > installion.
