Every user can use the "Run" command - it will always run applications using the token of the current interactive user. If it's not showing up on your Start menu, right click on the start menu, and select properties. Click on the Start Menu tab, click properties, go to the advanced tab, and scroll down in the Start menu items list. Check the option for Run command. You can also just hit the Windows-R key combination. Also, you can not use the run command to look at other users' passwords. These are stored as encrypted text. -- Chris Jackson Software Engineer Microsoft MVP Windows XP Associate Expert -- |
