tasks 'not responding'

Since I have had my Dell comp. the Microsoft works
program has stalled and will not activate. Repeated error
reports were sent. There has been no imporovement.

What exactly were you doing when the program locked up? Some tasks do take a
lot of time, and it will appear as if the program has locked when it truly
has not.

Submitting error reports isn't going to do anything immediately to remedy
any problems that you have - they are analyzed in the aggregate so that
future versions can be improved. You may want to check the application's web
site to check for patches and updates that may help you.
