At start up 3 screen appear. They look like DOS files.
they are called 1. diagnostic traces 2. Drvmcdb. and 3. Dispatch\??\tfsifs. How can I stop them from appearing on my screen at startup? Thanks\Mike |

This is being caused by an application installed on your system. Do you
happen to have Backup Exec or Backup MyPC installed on your system. Drvmcdb is a file that is a part of Backup Exec which I believe is not compatible with Windows XP. Backup MyPC from Stomp, http://www.stompinc.com/index.phtml?stp replaced Backup Exec. If you are using Backup MyPC and it's an older version, it needs to be updated. -- Michael Solomon MS-MVP Windows Shell/User Backup is a PC User's Best Friend "Mike Bordonaro" <Mbordon849@aol.com> wrote in message news:2cae01c33f74$ba7cc080$a401280a@phx.gbl... > At start up 3 screen appear.
