Default Re-processing DVDs

How can I re-process a DVD that has been created by MovieMaker? When I try
to import the files from the DVD, it says that the formats are not supported.
I would like to avoid having to re-capture the images by playing them back
to the PC from the DVD. Eventually, I would like to capture video directly
to a DVD recorded and import that into MovieMaker as well.

Is there an option to allow .BUP, etc files to be imported, or do I need to
rip them into another format to import?

Thank you.

Default Re: Re-processing DVDs

You would need to "rip" the video from the DVD using DVD Ripping software
(Nero can do this) but if you captured video and then created a DVD then the
captured video(s) should be on your hard drive already unless you deleted
them.
