Default Picture Clip Duration

I know you can set the default picture clip duration before you drag clips to
the timeline in MM2. Is there any way to select all clips after they are on
the timeline and adjust their length? (It's such a pain to adjust each
clip individually). For most of the projects I've been working on - I want
the clips in a specific order - and it's also a pain to delete them from the
timeline, change the duration, then put them back on.

Quite frequently I want to fit a specific group of pictures within the time
frame of a particular song & this would be such a handy feature.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Here's one approach....

Select all the clips you want to change at once, and apply a video effect
Apply the speed up - double or slow down - half effect, or use a custom
speed change effect to adjust them to the durations you want
