Add the Fade transition
Click "View Video Transitions" Scroll down to the FADE transition Drag that transition between the two clips You can then, in the timeline view, click the transition to select it and drag the left side back and forth to adjust the length/duration of the fade. -- Wojo MVP - Windows Digital Media Wojo's Web: www.wojos-web.co.nr Also please visit: www.remember-christopher.dostweb.com/christopher "improblematic" <improblematic@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:17DEB646-C1C4-4857-AC39-F704D862B91E@microsoft.com... > how do i combine clips which are on top of each other (basically fading) |

fading transition between them. You can't "combine" them except in that they get combined when you render
the finished movie. If you are trying to right click and then combine like you can with split clips that will not work once a transition is placed between them. -Wojo "improblematic" <improblematic@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A1AA8A8F-2A87-4C79-B5E8-B14D578B560E@microsoft.com... >i know that but i asked how do you combine both of those clips once i put >the > fading transition between them. > > "Wojo [MVP]" wrote: > >> Add the Fade transition >> Click "View Video Transitions" >> Scroll down to the FADE transition >> Drag that transition between the two clips >> You can then, in the timeline view, click the transition to select it and >> drag the left side back and forth to adjust the length/duration of the >> fade. >> -- >> Wojo >> MVP - Windows Digital Media >> >> Wojo's Web: www.wojos-web.co.nr >> Also please visit: >> www.remember-christopher.dostweb.com/christopher >> >> "improblematic" <improblematic@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in >> message >> news:17DEB646-C1C4-4857-AC39-F704D862B91E@microsoft.com... >> > how do i combine clips which are on top of each other (basically >> > fading) >> >> |
