big and urgent problem

eerm i have a problem with my wmm. it all started when i downloaded wmm 2. i
opened it and it was wmm 1 and it had to close down for some error. this kept
on going for a few days. then yesterday i tried to unistalll it andthen
installing wmm2 but somehow i ended up deleting wmm and everytime i try to go
on it it goes ERROR. no all i have is a wmm shortcut and it wont work at
alll. so i downloaded wmm 2 and as i was about to install it i had to have
some windows professionall cd which i dont know where ive put. now the
programs all gone and i need it to do some movies from school. i know it's my
fault is there anyway of getting it back?

Try doing a system restore to a point
before you tried to install MM2 the first
time.

Windows XP SP2 includes Movie Maker
2.1...maybe it would be worth a try to
download and install it.

Will SP2 clear all your files?
No it will install over XP SP1 with no problems. You will have to use
Microsoft Update to download and install a few updates afterward but it will
not clear anything on your system.
