I'm checking how to easily recapture a corrupt or missing DV-AVI file
(firewire from a mini-DV camcorder), after you've already used it in a project... and the exact syncing of frames is critical. The results exceeded my expecations. I made a project using a DV-AVI source file that was initially captured with the WinDV utility.... then deleted the file and went back to the camcorder tape. I was able to re-capture the footage without starting the tape capture at any particular point, and use the new file in the project without having to open the project or tweak any settings.... and I was able to do it by doing the re=capture using either WinDV or Movie Maker 2.... -- PapaJohn Movie Maker 2 and Photo Story 3 website - http://www.papajohn.org |
