I tried to play Movies like MPEGs, AVIs using Realplayer, Windows Media
Player and DIVX Players and all i got are sounds. There is no Video at all. Quicktime will play movies but only .MOV files. It will hang up when playing MPEG or AVI movies. I have to shut down the Quicktime Player (usual CTRL+ALT +DEL) because it will not close. |

MPEG2 files need DVD decoding software such as PowerDVD
(www.gocyberlink.com) or WinDVD (www.intervideo.com). AVI files are usually compressed and need the appropriate codec installed... usually DIVX (www.divx.com) or XVID (www.xvidmovies.org). -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Client - Printing & Imaging www.coribright.com/Windows "Swail23" <Swail23@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A4BD871B-AE13-40FC-9E55-DB13EB670C4F@microsoft.com... >I tried to play Movies like MPEGs, AVIs using Realplayer, Windows Media > Player and DIVX Players and all i got are sounds.
