Default Nvidia problems

Recently my computer wouldn't let me get on. Everytime I would start up me
computer it would restart again or my monitor would appear to be off while my
computer was running. Sometimes when I restart my computer I get the Blue
Screen saying that "An error has occured in NV_4 DISP" I'm pretty sure that
its my video card, so I went to Nvidia website i dl-ed a driver and when i
restarted my computer Black and White smiley faces came up. I don't know what
to do anymore.
WHAT SHOULD I DO???

Thanks for reading/helping.

Default Re: Nvidia problems

Open up your PC and make sure the vidcard fan has not
seized up, if it has one.

Pull and re-seat the card too.
