When opening MS Office and/or One Note, a message from installer says it's
trying to install requested feature. This started after a MS Update to Windows XP Home. When you cancel, it terminates the program I'm trying to open with Error Code 1706. I get a message that i.e., that onote11n.msi cannot be found. This is a legitimate copy which has been properly activated. It was on my Toshiba laptop when I bought it. I've had this computer for 2 years with no problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've considered purchasing Windows XP Pro SP2 since I only have the original XP Home cds which do me no good since I've upgraded to SP2. Thanx |

You created a slipstreamed win installation that includes the latest sp - no
need to buy an sp2 installation. Autostreamer - google - used by many but there are others So what happens if you dont cancel the feature?
