Any security updates (hotfixes) on your system after the service pack installation are post-SP2 patches, and should not be uninstalled. Also, please unstick your CapsLock key. Posting in all caps, as you have done, is the Usenet equivalent of shouting, and is considered very rude by a large number of people. More importantly, posting in all caps makes the post harder to read, further reducing your chances of getting help; a great many people won't even try to read such a message. If you really want help, simply comply with the dictates of common courtesy and the conventions of the milieu. -- Bruce Chambers Help us help you: http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. -Benjamin Franklin |

Will you "please" stop posting with all capital letters. It is hard for
these old eyes to read and I tend to bypass posts like these. Yeah, I know - I'm an old fart. But, many others have the same problem. You will be limiting the amount of assistance you receive if you continue to do this. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User Quote from George Ankner: If you knew as much as you think you know, You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew! SP2 is, however, quite old - and since its release over 60 new patches have been released. These are likely what you are seeing in your add/remove programs control panel. These should not be removed. Also - if you would not mind in the future using normal capitalization methods - it might make the reading of your posts easier and you might get more responses -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |
