Yeah, I have a fair amount of games that don't want to
run, or don't want to install. I also have tried many things but no solution. I've got an Intel P4 2ghz w/256 ram w/ a Nvidia GE force 4 MX 420 (64 or 32 meg?). HAve latest WHQL video drivers and DX 9 (recent; still had probs w/DX 8). There's another recent post w/similar problems who also mentions a nvidia ge force card. Hmm????? >-----Original Message----- >I've read that other people have had this same problem >that I'm having. Now the funny thing is, I had NO issues >when I first loaded up my XP and then the games.. they >all ran just fine. My computer has no reason to do this & no one >seems to have an answer either at my Vid card >manufacture's site or even at Nvidia's. What games, Bill? We can't help without specifics. BTW, on your GeForce 4
card, those drivers released by Nvidia, if you read the fine print, are only WHQL-certified for FX family, not the GF4. -- Chris H.
