A place to start is with the error messages you're seeing. What are they?
Have you looked in Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event
Viewer/Application and checked for warnings (yellow exclamation points or
red circles with white X's) and right-clicked them, selected Properties and
looked at the errors? Are you running Dr. Watson to trap error messages?
Is your system updated from Windows Update? Are you running SP1? What are
the games and have they been updated (if available)?
