I have recently fitted an internal (pci) adsl modem for my broadband (Wanadoo) connection but am unable to find Linux drivers for the device.
It is an Alcatel Speed Touch PC modem, I've got it working OK on Windows and would like to use it for Linux also. A decription of the modem can be found here: http://www.chipweb.de/dsl/index.php?menu=2&id2=18 Can anyone tell me how to install it in FC2 or FC4 please? |

Try looking at www.driversguide.com You may have to register but it is free to do so.

You will not find any "drivers" for that card ...
![]() Always use an external modem with Linux.

Thanks Muckshifter, when I first got my external modem (Speedtouch 330) it didn't have drivers for Linux but sourceforge came up with some soon after and I was hoping someone might do the same for the internal modem - maybe in a couple of months I'll try again???

Yup, you may get lucky ... sad we have to wait for someone else to supply them.
