I have setup my grahics card to work on my tv using a belkin pc to tv
cables. I can set up the tv fine and sound and audio works fine. The problem i'm having is that the screen is very large on my tv and i cannot seem to shrink it, i have tried changing the resolution on the 2nd monitor but this doesn't make a difference. i can watch dvd's on my tv but i can only see 60% of the screen as windows media player is too big for my tv screen which is a 20" widescreen. Thanks |

Are you using theater mode? That would automatically scale any video
output to fullscreen on the secondary device (the tv). Sounds to me like you are using clone mode. That is, viewing your desktop on the TV. Since the TV (usually) isn't capable of very high resolutions most of the desktop is offscreen. Using theater mode will fix that problem for video output.
