Dial-up tries to connect automatically, Opens modem Port

My dial up, as soon as a program like msn messenger or
windows messenger tries to connect, starts dialing,
opening my port for like 2 minutes until it gets tired i
think. The thing is that i dont use the Connect To, to
connect, i have a dialer... How can i disable a feature
that goes off every time i open windows or msn messenger?
