The component information is broken up into several tables within the database. It is possible to develop applications that interact with the databse. What are you trying to extract? If you install the database on SQL Server, you should be able to open and see the tables via SQL Server Manager. TD presents files and regitry information, but not extraction. You can easily write an application that accesses the database to extract the info.
