Proliant 3000 Server
Hi all,
I'm just about to put a server on Ebay and just wanted to give you lot first refusal. Specs: Comapaq Proliant 3000 2 x Intel Pentium III 550Mhz 512MB RAM 4 x 9.1GB SCSI Hard Disks (One Faulty) 2 x Power Supply Units (Hot Spare) Compaq Remote Insight Compaq Smart Array 3200 RAID Controller If anyone wants more info (pics etc) give me a shout. Thanks for the offer, but i try to stay clear of Compaq, never understood why they used to put part of the BIOS on to the Hard Drive, thus making the PC un-useable if you FDisk it (i once did this by mistake
 ) Do they still do this??

not sure just fdisked, this one and its fine.

i might know a couple of guys that might want it, they have a load of systems on loan from school which have to go back soon so they will be in need of a server
how much are you after for it ?
