Default Dupplicates


i am working in a company i have lots of files. every month when i check my
report i get dupplicates in my report. i have to find it. i am waisting my
time for it. can you please help me and please tell me any good formula for
it. that if i will enter any new file if this file is already there. so there
should be an pop up message that please dont enter it. thanks a lot

Hi,

You can use COUNTIF or VLOOKUP to check for duplicate entries in a coloum or
for comparing two coloms. Please specify if you want to check for duplicate
files or duplicate entries.
