The file at that location is:

"[MZ] AVG Anti-Virus v7.1.362.rar"

The password for decompression is "megazooi". You might have to wait a
few minutes before that web site allows you to download it. The
contents of that file is:

avg71f_362.exe (21 mb)
keygen.exe (52 kb)

Both dated 11/08/05.

The keygen file contains no readable text. It seems to be a UXP
compressed archive. VirusTotal shows no threat across the board -
except Panda says "suspicious file". Perhaps another example of virus
detection avoidance within a particular class of delivery agents?

Anyone know a URL for a good (and safe) UXP decompressor?

PS: Am I right in thinking that all one really needs (to make
avg71f_362.exe usable) is just a serial number or regedit entry - and
that an executable file is NOT necessary to activate said software?

I found a UXP decompressor. It generates (or over-writes) keygen.exe
with another file (with the same name). New keygen.exe is 94kb (also
dated 11/08/05). Still contains no (noteworthy) readable text.
VirusTotal again shows nothing on this decompressed file (again except
for panda).

Use at oWn RySc I guess.

What's wrong with obtaining a key legally and thus supporting the
development of the software?
