Need FTP client with upload validation

I have a server that I frequently have to upload binaries to.
Occasionally, for whatever reason, the uploaded file will be corrupted.
I need a FTP client for Windows XP that I can either manually have it
validate the upload by doing something like a binary compare or MD5
checksum or, better yet, can be configured to automatically validate all
transfers.

Does such an animal exist?

No one has come up with anything, so this may be the best way.
