Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
Version: 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4 Internet Explorer: v 6.0.2800.1106 Outlook Express: v 6.0.2800.1106 ----------------------------------------------------- The Start menu of Win2000 has a nice feature. Mouse over reveals various cascading folders set up by the user. I really would like to be able to do the same thing for all my drives *but* not in the Start menu but located in separate folder elsewhere - named , say Index of D Drive Index of E Drive...etc etc Am I asking too much? Can this be done with some program - free or paid for? Any help or advice appreciated. eXistenZ |

Are you trying to set up cascading menus of custom shortcuts, as in Start
Menu? Or are you trying to set up a quick method of browsing the folders on your D drive, E drive etc? If the former, I can not help you. However, I achieve the latter by simply dragging the 'My Computer' icon onto a new toolbar, then reducing the width of this toolbar so that only the title "My Computer" and a double-headed arrow appear. Clicking on the arrow then brings up a series of cascading drives / folders / files. I've done this on Windows 98 and Windows XP so I expect it will work on WIndows 2000. Hope this is of use to you.
