Manual or batch conversion shouldn't be a problem once the image is loaded. If you don't have the plugin, it's included in the formats collection: http://www.irfanview.com/plugins.htm Direct link to formats: http://irfanview.tuwien.ac.at/plugins/iv_formats.zip |

Proprietary raw formats often need a particular piece of software to read them and convert to other formats. This is usually included on the CD that comes with camera, but there are many freebies available on the net that will do the job for a given format. Irfanview latest version has support for a couple of raw formats - Canon raw is one of them, possibly Kodak too, but you would need to check. |

I would also suggest the Baxbex file explorer extensions (for Irfanview). I no longer see them on the Bx site but neither could I find a withdrawal notice so maybe you can find them someplace. -- HTH, Derald |

XnView can convert over 400 image formats including these Kodak formats: cin, kdc, k25, pcd, dcr. XnView comes in small, standard and complete versions, depending on what plugins you want. Not sure if Kodak requires extra plugins or not. The complete version has all available plugins, except for a few that you can only find on the XnView forum. Use the NConvert toolbar button in XnView to convert the images, or just open them and do 'File - Save As' and then choose JPG as the format.
