Direct X 9.0a problem.

Hi guys,

I'm having problem with direct x 9.0a (my guess).

When i try to run this game called BloodRayne on my
windows xp, it gives me this error message.

A box pop up with the title DirectX8 3D Driver error and
in the box the message goes like this,

DirectX error
Code:8876086A
Description:This device does not support the queried
technique. While trying to do this. Reset the device.

Then i press the ok button and it just won't execute my
game. Is that the problem with directX 9.0a?

FYI,i've a game called Fung Wan Online which runs
perfectly using the directX 9.0a. So could it be the
BloodRayne giving me the problem. Pls help.

I run it perfectly with Windows Xp, dirrect X 9.0a, but i have a Ati Radeon
9700 graphic card that fully support Direct X9, so it might be your graphic
card dos'nt support all features in Direct X 9, i know some of my friends
had the same problem and they had to use Direct X8.1 to play Bloodrayne

Try getting the very latest video drivers for your video card. Most
manufacturers publish revised video drivers, from time to time.
