Hi Evan,
Could you send a copy of your dxdiag information so that we could take a closer look? (One suggestion was to return to VGA mode prior to updating drivers for the adapter) After running all tests in dxdiag save at the bottom of the interface and post that information here. It will tell us about the hardware configuration and driver versions there. This will help us find the problem.
