Default Can't open web

When I attempt to open a web by choosing File > Open Web > www.davetoler.com

I get this error message from FP 2000
"Server error: Error 2 opening registry key "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\Web Server Extensions\Ports\Port 80"."

I also get this same error when I try to publish the web to the server

If the port FTP is looking for is some other port on my local PC, how can I
change the port designation in Front Page 2000?

ALSO, I have other webs published on the same server as davetoler.com, and
FP works correctly with them

On Monday the davetoler.com web completely disappeared. I got a 404 when
accessing this web via IE. The web was restored to the server from my IPP's
back up.

I can view the web page in IE 6.0
Any ideas?
Thanks, Mark Flynn

Port 80 is the http:// port.
FTP is port 21

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a copy of
FP Cleaner.
Run the functions that:
Clear the FrontPage Temporary files
Clear the Cache(*.web) files.

See if it helps.

Great.
Glad to hear you have one of the IPP's that actually responds to help
requests.
