I have a CD
Visual Basic .NET Resource Kit 1) I wonder if I should reinstall it now that I have VS2005. I still have VS2003 on the machine. 2) Any reason to keep VS2003 on the machine? I had an old solution that I tried to convert to VS2005 and it bombed, so I converted to VS2003 first and then to VS2005. Does that make sense to anyone? I may have done something dumb at the time. Thanks |

Allen,
I would have a look instead of that to this ones. http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/d...es/default.aspx Be aware that 75% of the ones in Data 2005 don't work, they are nice to overview, however. I hope this helps, Cor "Allen" <allen99NOSPAM@a-znet.com> schreef in bericht news:uPp90K7RGHA.776@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... >I have a CD > Visual Basic .NET Resource Kit > > 1) I wonder if I should reinstall it now that I have VS2005. > > I still have VS2003 on the machine. > > 2) Any reason to keep VS2003 on the machine? > > I had an old solution that I tried to convert to VS2005 and it bombed, so > I converted to VS2003 first and then to VS2005. Thanks that looks like a good site to know about.
In my VS2003 I have a tool for converting C# to VB. I think I got that from the Visual Basic .NET Resource Kit Not sure. Maybe I should just try to install it and see what happens. I'd like to have the converted with VS2005. Thanks again "Cor Ligthert [MVP]" <notmyfirstname@planet.nl> wrote in message news:eBZrIj$RGHA.4752@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > Allen, > > I would have a look instead of that to this ones. > > http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/d...es/default.aspx > > Be aware that 75% of the ones in Data 2005 don't work, they are nice to > overview, however. > > I hope this helps, > > Cor > > "Allen" <allen99NOSPAM@a-znet.com> schreef in bericht > news:uPp90K7RGHA.776@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... >>I have a CD >> Visual Basic .NET Resource Kit >> >> 1) I wonder if I should reinstall it now that I have VS2005. >> >> I still have VS2003 on the machine. >> >> 2) Any reason to keep VS2003 on the machine? >> >> I had an old solution that I tried to convert to VS2005 and it bombed, so >> I converted to VS2003 first and then to VS2005. Allen,
There are plenty of C# to VBNet converters I have no actual list. Put a new message than Herfried will surely support a bunch of links.
