My pendrive has been working fine until recently. Now my machine does not
recognise the device (LG 1 gig usb drive.) It comes up as 'unknown device' in device manager. I have tried copying all the system 32 usb drivers from a mate and overwriting mine without success. I have followed all the troubleshooting hints I can find. System restore to way before the problem doesn't help either. The drive works fine in other XP machines and the port is fine with other usb devices. Any ideas anyone?? |

Is the USB pendrive seen there? It might need to be re-numerated in Windows Registry for this particular machine. |

Thanks for the reply
No sign of pendrive in disk management - the device is not being recognised.
