Hi there,

I am building a website which will be selling downloadable ebooks:
I need to create the following :
1)A members area with a database
2)After someone pays for the ebook to be given a username and password and
access the downloads page(area).
3)This to be automated and if they loose their password for it to be sent
out again .

Please help . Can FP2003 do this ?

Hi Craig,

While this can be done through FrontPage, you would need to understand how
to create databases along with needing to create custom coded pages that use
..asp or similar. You will not find a way through FrontPage to do all of that
in the WYSIWYG mode.

Your best bet is to find a shopping cart system that has the features that
you need/want. There's many available out there that can do what you
want..the type you need though would depend upon what your host supports.
