i am a new user in linux and install redhat v.9, i add a new user and logon to the new created user "sherjeel" account.
but my first administrator account "shazel" is expired. and i lost my docs. please help me thanks shazel |

Log-in as Root ... and de-activate Account Expiry.

Probably not the right thread, but as you mentioned Red Hat being difficult if new to Linux, which version/s are more friendly to someone new to Linux? I'm currently running SUSE Linux 10 Live from the Disc, as no installation files go on to pc.

my problem is soved becuse i read documents. and this is simple logon to as "root" and give the password. and thats all. thanks shazel |
