Default Weird Reboot

Need help in understanding the error I am seeing.
1) Originally had the system configured using Window 2000.
2) Bought the full version of WIndows XP.
3) System has been running fine for a year or more
suddenly started getting an error message asking me to insert my Window
XP SP 2 and it says it is outputting the error to setuperr.log
Initially couldn't find my original disks (have found them now) so when I
pressed
cancel it went, rebooted the system and XP ran a chkdsk on the system.
Any suggestions on how to approach this problem or has anyone seen something
like this?
Thanks

Default Re: Weird Reboot

setuperr.log -This log file contains a list of errors that occurred during
installation and their severity (this log file should be 0 bytes in size if
no errors occurred during installation). XP writes the setuperr.log file to
the %systemroot% folder.

Paste the following line into Start | Run and click OK...

%systemroot%\setuperr.log

to see what the log sez.
